Provide essential behavior support and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy within a K-12 school setting, working with a student diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role focuses on skill development and challenging behavior reduction through targeted interventions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized behavior support and ABA therapy focusing on skill acquisition and challenging behavior reduction
- Support social skills, academic performance, vocational training, functional independence, and communication development
- Collaborate with a team to maintain a 2:1 support ratio to ensure safety and effective intervention
- Monitor and document progress, adapting strategies as necessary to meet the student's needs
Requirements
- Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children in ABA therapy, education, childcare, psychology, or related fields
- Ability to work onsite in a full-time capacity, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
