Provide diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, and ongoing care to patients across various settings, utilizing a broad understanding of human behavior and psychopathology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, continually assessing patient progress and revising interventions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic assessment
- Conduct onsite crisis assessment and intervention
- Determine need for ongoing care according to level of clinical ability, medical, and psychosocial complexity
- Develop and implement treatment plans specific to patient needs
- Continually assess patient's progress and revise diagnosis, treatment plans, and interventions accordingly
- Document treatment sessions
- Provide patient progress updates to interdisciplinary team, as needed
- Educate patient support members about patient issues and interventions, if needed
- Refer for additional clinical services or to specialists, as needed
- Stay current on emerging issues in the profession
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences from an accredited school
- Credentialing through Allied Health Staff prior to start
- Licensed in Iowa (LMHC or LISW), Minnesota (LPCC or LICSW), North Dakota (LPCC or LCSW), and South Dakota (LPC-MH or CSW-PIP)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences
