Behavioral Health Therapist

About This Role

Provide diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, and ongoing care to patients across various settings, utilizing a deep understanding of human behavior and treatment modalities. This role focuses on improving emotional, mental and behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessment
• Conduct onsite crisis assessment and intervention
• Determine need for ongoing care according to clinical ability and patient complexity
• Develop treatment plans specific to patient needs
• Implement treatment interventions
• Continually assess patient's progress and revise diagnosis(es), treatment plans, and interventions
• Document treatment sessions
• Provide patient progress updates to interdisciplinary team
• Educate patient support members about patient issues and interventions
• Refer for additional clinical services or to specialists, as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences
• Licensed in all four specified states (Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health Sciences; graduation from an accredited school preferred
