Behavioral Health Technician

About This Role

This role involves providing essential support to clients in a women's residential treatment program, focusing on their safety, daily activities, and adherence to treatment requirements. The position ensures the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility while preparing and documenting client progress.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist clients with activities of daily living
• Monitor facility and grounds, including client whereabouts, and conduct inspections
• Perform customer service duties, greeting and admitting clients, conducting tours, and orienting them to the unit
• Clean and maintain bedrooms as required
• Ensure timely completion of laundry duties for the unit and clients, and assist clients with special needs
• Monitor performance of client job function assignments
• Perform filing duties and provide directions
• Prepare and maintain clinical documentation in the electronic health record, complete progress notes and shift reports
• Organize group rooms, meeting rooms, and kitchens
• Coordinate discharges in consultation with the treatment and/or case management team
