Behavioral Health Technician

About This Role

Manage daily residential operations within a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, ensuring client supervision, support, and compliance with facility policies. Provide leadership and maintain a positive recovery environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Valid driver's license
• CPR certification
