About This Role

Provide direct medical care, medication management, and treatment planning for patients in a substance use disorder treatment facility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain meticulous documentation to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Responsibilities

  • Create individual medical care treatment plans
  • Provide medical monitoring and medication management for clients
  • Administer quality medical care to stabilize patients for treatment engagement
  • Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders
  • Review and address UDS and lab results
  • Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordination of care
  • Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions, consultations, and directives
  • Complete daily and weekly client appointment schedules efficiently

Requirements

  • Unrestricted FNP, PMH-NP, PA-C certification valid in the state of Maryland
  • Valid state medical license
  • Federal DEA certification
  • CPR certification

Qualifications

  • Min. 1 year experience in field of substance use disorder, psychiatry, or mental health preferred

  • Min. 1 year experience in field of substance use disorder, psychiatry, or mental health
  • Acute observational and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong collaborative and multitasking skills
