Beauty Sales Consultant

About This Role

As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you will provide personalized sales service to customers in the beauty zone, sharing the latest trends and techniques. This role involves building lasting relationships by offering expert advice, effective upselling, and follow-up contact.

Responsibilities

• Seek out customers to ensure a fantastic beauty advisor experience through personalized sales service, effective upselling and suggestive selling.
• Engage in conversation with each customer, listen to their needs, and provide specialized sales advice to stimulate sales.
• Act as a brand expert by answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge to maximize sales.
• Explain product usage and benefits to customers and leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program.
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events to positively impact business and close sales.
• Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials.
• Maintain a beautiful and clean zone, ensuring it is well-stocked, well-merchandised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Execute CVS tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies in a timely and compliant manner.
• Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training with ongoing educational programs to ensure sales and product knowledge are current.
• Execute the established sales plan by meeting the sales budget and tracking progress.

Requirements

• Sales oriented
• Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, Peak Hours)
• Ability and willingness to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification to be provided)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
