Banking Center Operations Coordinator

About This Role

This role supervises and supports tellers, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient transactional processing. It involves monitoring and training staff, ensuring compliance with banking policies, and assisting in achieving banking center goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to tellers to ensure maximum customer service in a professional manner
• Monitor and train transactional processing staff in supporting all bank marketing efforts and cross-selling products
• Ensure compliance of all policies and procedures affecting day-to-day operations
• Oversee center cash operations including cashboxes, vault, ATM, and TCRs to ensure center cash is managed, balanced, and secured
• Process client transactions accurately and efficiently, using sound judgment for approvals and overrides to safeguard against fraud and errors
• Communicate critical policy, procedure, and compliance changes or alerts to the team
• Lead the Operational Performance of the banking center through maintaining control over key risk areas
• Lead the Client Experience efforts of the banking center, including delivering excellent client experiences and resolving client issues effectively
• Cross-sell and make referrals to bank partners to generate new business and deepen existing client relationships
• Maintain workflow and handle scheduling for associates supporting financial transactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience in a banking or operations role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
