Automotive Parts Counterperson

About This Role

Join Brickell Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram as an Automotive Parts Counterperson to assist customers and service technicians in identifying and supplying correct automotive parts, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors with parts inquiries in-person, over the phone, or through online platforms
• Accurately identify and recommend the correct automotive parts based on customer’s needs and vehicle specifications
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer requests and providing prompt solutions
• Process parts orders, including checking availability, pricing, and delivery timelines
• Maintain and manage parts inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and restocking shelves as needed
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the parts department, ensuring all parts are stored and labeled correctly for easy access
• Collaborate with the service department to fulfill parts requests for vehicle repairs in a timely manner
• Handle parts returns and warranty claims as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with new automotive products, services, and parts to better serve customers
• Provide input on process improvements and assist with inventory control measures

Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is highly desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in using parts lookup tools, computer systems, and related technology (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar systems)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Clean driving record

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive parts counterperson or in a similar automotive role is preferred.
