The Associate Property Manager is responsible for maintaining multifamily communities to a market-ready standard and ensuring high levels of service. This role involves building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall operations of the building
- Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and reporting
- Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects
- Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards
- Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team
- Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching
- Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards
- Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances
- Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met
Requirements
- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 1+ years of Management experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of Property Management experience and 1+ years of Management experience
