Associate Property Manager, Multifamily

About This Role

The Associate Property Manager is responsible for maintaining multifamily communities to a market-ready standard and ensuring high levels of service. This role involves building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall operations of the building
• Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment
• Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and reporting
• Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards
• Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching
• Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards
• Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances
• Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met

Requirements

• 3+ years of Property Management experience
• 1+ years of Management experience
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
• General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3+ years of Property Management experience and 1+ years of Management experience
