HVAC Technician

About This Role

Perform maintenance and repair work on HVAC and mechanical systems in industrial or logistics environments for a global real estate company. This role is responsible for supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring reliable operation of critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, pumps, fans, and split systems
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and MEP-related issues
• Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of temperature controls and automation systems
• Respond to and close out work orders in the CMMS system, documenting all time, materials, and work performed
• Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client safety standards
• Coordinate with senior technicians and contractors on larger system repairs or equipment replacements
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools and parts are properly stored
• Provide input on system condition and improvement opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience performing HVAC maintenance and repair in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments
• General knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and basic electrical troubleshooting
• EPA/CFC certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Proficiency in CMMS or work order management systems
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience performing HVAC maintenance and repair in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments

Nice to Have

• Trade or technical school certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Familiarity with plumbing or basic electrical work
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment
