Perform maintenance and repair work on HVAC and mechanical systems in industrial or logistics environments for a global real estate company. This role is responsible for supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring reliable operation of critical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, including air handlers, pumps, fans, and split systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and MEP-related issues
- Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of temperature controls and automation systems
- Respond to and close out work orders in the CMMS system, documenting all time, materials, and work performed
- Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and client safety standards
- Coordinate with senior technicians and contractors on larger system repairs or equipment replacements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools and parts are properly stored
- Provide input on system condition and improvement opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience performing HVAC maintenance and repair in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments
- General knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles, and basic electrical troubleshooting
- EPA/CFC certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Proficiency in CMMS or work order management systems
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience performing HVAC maintenance and repair in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments
Nice to Have
- Trade or technical school certification in HVAC or Mechanical Systems
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Familiarity with plumbing or basic electrical work
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment
