Maintenance Technician, Multifamily

About This Role

The Maintenance Technician supports resident satisfaction by ensuring quality move-ins and expedited service, performing maintenance tasks and responding to service requests. This role contributes to superior customer service and maintains property functionality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs
• Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal
• Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure cleanliness, operational status, and safety
• Participate in on-call scheduling for after-hours emergencies
• Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Perform all duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
• Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally
• Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment
• Achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
• 1+ years of related experience
• Valid Driver's license
• EPA 608 - Minimum Type II
• CPO or local city required certificate
• Knowledge of maintenance functions (plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting)
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
• 1+ years of related experience
