The Maintenance Technician supports resident satisfaction by ensuring quality move-ins and expedited service, performing maintenance tasks and responding to service requests. This role contributes to superior customer service and maintains property functionality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare make-ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs
- Respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, general carpentry, painting, and snow removal
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to ensure cleanliness, operational status, and safety
- Participate in on-call scheduling for after-hours emergencies
- Report maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Perform all duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
- Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally
- Maintain all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment
- Achieve high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
- Valid Driver's license
- EPA 608 - Minimum Type II
- CPO or local city required certificate
- Knowledge of maintenance functions (plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, carpentry, painting)
- Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
