This role is for a physician who wants to actively practice medicine while also shaping healthcare delivery in a community-based primary care setting. You will maintain an active patient panel, influence provider performance, and contribute to access and quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population
- Share clinical and administrative leadership responsibilities with the Chief Medical Officer
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of providers
- Coordinate clinical schedules, on-call coverage, and access optimization
- Monitor provider productivity, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction
- Provide consultation and supervision to advanced practice providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
- Serve as a clinical leader in interdisciplinary and board-level meetings as invited
- Support education and precepting of medical trainees
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and documentation standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted Missouri medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Completion of an accredited primary care residency program (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, or related specialty)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in primary care specialty
- Current DEA registration and controlled substance licensure
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility to obtain)
- Demonstrated Experience Providing Comprehensive Primary Care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and serving urban and underserved populations
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive primary care; Interest in or experience with physician leadership, supervision, or clinical oversight
