This role involves leading the management and enhancement of partner-facing applications within the tax organization, ensuring efficient operations and strategic alignment. The Associate Director will also act as a project manager for key department deliverables and respond to partner inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the business lead for core partner applications, including provisioning, reporting, and security review processes.
- Lead the full lifecycle of enhancements to partner applications, from requirements gathering through testing and deployment.
- Maintain site content and partner-facing resources for applications.
- Respond to partner inquiries and requests for information related to applications, collaborating with technical support teams.
- Assess and implement solutions leveraging the partner application suite to support firm strategic initiatives and business requirements.
- Fulfill ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests to aid strategic decision-making.
- Serve as project manager for key department deliverables, including the annual tax affidavit and partner tax package.
- Document technology processes, workflows, and system functions for clarity and business continuity.
- Manage partner inquiries and requests submitted through the Partner Care mailbox.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum seven years of recent experience in partnership tax, accounting operations, or a similar role within a professional services environment
- Experience managing complex programs aligned to strategic business needs
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of management
- Ability to serve as a liaison between technical teams and business owners
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple assignments under tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Qualifications
