About This Role

Direct onsite personnel and subcontractors to plan, coordinate, and execute mission-critical construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion within budget goals while enhancing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively plan, schedule, oversee, and manage onsite activities of project to ensure project’s goals and schedules are met
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, owner contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents
  • Maintain a complete and accurate set of as-built drawings
  • Proactively schedule and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure project completion in accordance with schedule and without additional costs
  • Monitor subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with construction/engineering standards, codes, contracts, safety rules, and quality control
  • Handle project set-up including obtaining trailer, equipment, signage, PPE, and other items
  • Complete accurate daily reports (weather, subcontractor manpower), safety logs, equipment rentals, and cost coding
  • Guide project to completion, ensuring proper close-out and maintaining/reviewing punch list process for timely execution
  • Comply with all safety policies, report concerns, recommend enhancements, and support the company’s safety culture

Requirements

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience successfully managing construction projects for a general contractor from conception to completion
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
  • Appropriate experience successfully managing construction projects for a general contractor from conception to completion or an equivalent combination of education and experience
