Assistant Nurse Manager - Home Care

About This Role

Manage the Clinical Supervisor team for Health First Home Care, focusing on policy development, staff scheduling, and continuous quality improvement. Serve as a clinical and professional role model, fostering staff development and patient connections.

Responsibilities

• Promote associate accountability and competency through leadership and management practice
• Encourage associate growth and development through mentorship and goal setting
• Assist in providing consistent on-boarding experience for all new clinical staff
• Provide input for annual performance appraisals and competency checklists
• Participate in the selection of new clinicians
• Assist with implementation of utilization-based performance improvement activities
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement activities in the department
• Work with individual nursing supervisors and their clinical teams to increase Patient Engagement scores and HHVBP incentives
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency standards
• Monitor and ensure compliance with staffing guidelines, utilization, and productivity to meet financial goals
• Communicate staff and equipment needs and concerns to Manager/Director

Requirements

• BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to complete within 3 years
• 3+ years of Home Health nursing experience
• Acute care experience as a RN
• Florida RN Licensure or endorsement
• Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card
• Satisfy Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening
• Oasis documentation knowledge
• CMS Conditions of Participation knowledge
• ACHA Home Care Standards knowledge
• TJC Standards knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) OR current Associate's or external candidates enrolled to complete BSN within three (3) years of start date
• Three (3) years Home Health nursing experience and acute care experience as a Registered Nurse; prior Home Health leadership experience preferred
