This role assists the General Manager in overseeing all business operations for a student housing community, partnering with the Customer & Sales Experience Manager on initiatives, with a focus on staff development, property administration, and ensuring a positive resident experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with attracting and hiring new team members and improving employee retention
- Train, coach, develop, and lead exceptional team members
- Manage adherence to the property onsite schedule, including after-hour on-call shifts
- Elevate employee experience through data, conversations, and team building
- Prepare, respond, and advise on all community aspects including market, physical condition, policies, and onsite emergencies
- Deliver legal and resident notices and file evictions in compliance with current policy and local ordinances
- Manage all resident accounts and utility billing, coordinate accounts receivables, and maintain regular auditing
- Ensure a safe and sanitary community experience for employees, residents, and guests
- Conduct monthly property walks and inspections to uphold company standards and comply with codes
- Coordinate work orders with appropriate staff or vendors to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Assist with the planning and execution of the annual turnover process, tracking progress with Turnable
- Assess damage at move-out, calculate required charges, and prepare final billing or process refunds
- Assist in the preparation of Month End reports, reconcile, and balance all accounts receivable
- Post and collect damage charges from quarterly inspections
- Develop written communication to keep customers informed of important community information
- Support the Customer & Sales Experience Manager with customer experience and engagement initiatives
- Manage all escalated resident concerns and account matters in a timely manner
Requirements

- 1+ years’ experience working at living communities/property management
- Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred)
