Perform x-ray testing and Medical Assistant duties for patients at a Physicians Care urgent and family care center. Operate diagnostic equipment, prepare rooms, and assist providers in a patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Promptly greet patients and communicate wait times and next steps
- Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help in emergent/hazardous situations
- Perform follow-up calls with a sense of urgency
- Assist front desk personnel with patient check-in/out procedures
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, weight, and relevant medical history
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures directly supervised by the provider
- Perform timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring proper radiation protection
- Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills
- Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment and licensure
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- ARRT Certification
- Experience as a Medical Assistant
