Armed Security Officer

About This Role

Ensure the safety and security of client premises, personnel, and assets as an Armed Security Officer, maintaining a vigilant presence and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas and monitor activities to prevent and detect suspicious behavior
• Actively engage with visitors, employees, and the general public to provide assistance and maintain order
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Conduct thorough security checks and maintain accurate records of daily activities
• Operate and maintain firearms and other necessary equipment responsibly and safely

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed positions
• Must possess a valid state armed security officer license
• At least 1 year of armed security experience
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation
• Must have reliable transportation and phone
• Ability to handle firearms and other personal protection equipment (PPE) effectively and safely
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure
• Available to work weekends

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security experience

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security
