Security Solutions of America (SSA) is seeking an Armed Security Officer to patrol and monitor premises, respond to alarms, and authorize entry to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions. This role involves maintaining a high level of customer service and reporting daily activities and irregularities.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of the premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, evict violators from the premises.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or provide documentation allowing residency and authorization to work.
- Must provide a High Level of Customer Service.
- Some basic computer knowledge.
- Must be neat in appearance and grooming.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
- Must have reliable transportation and phone.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 1-2 years of security guard experience preferred.
Nice to Have
- Military and/or Law Enforcement experience
