Armed Security Officer

About This Role

Serve as an Armed Security Officer for Waffle House locations in Montgomery, AL, ensuring safety and enforcing policies according to established procedures. This role requires individuals with integrity and the ability to adapt to various situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all required tasks are completed correctly and professionally
• Ensure all policies and procedures regarding inmates (likely a typo, should be 'incidents' or 'situations') are documented and followed as instructed
• Ensure all documentation is noted correctly and legibly
• Ensure and enforce all laws, rules, and policies within scope of authority
• Provide a high level of customer service

Requirements

• Minimum one year of stable security experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have Armed ASRB
• Must be neat in appearance, grooming and hygiene
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background investigation
• Must have reliable transportation and phone
• Must have or obtain a Firearm Permit
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or provide documentation allowing residency and authorization to work
• Some basic computer knowledge

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year or more of stable security experience

Nice to Have

• Military and/or Law Enforcement experience
