Area Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise a specific area of the store, manage daily operations as Manager on Duty, supervise Associates, and ensure a friendly and well-maintained shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty
• Maintain a high level of awareness on the sales floor for a safe and secure shopping environment
• Ensure security of the building including entrance/exit control and cash office
• Treat all Customers, Associates, and leaders with respect and professionalism
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times, maintaining professional appearance
• Keep all areas of the Store clean, well-maintained, and merchandised to standard
• Ensure recovery, sizing, and markdowns are completed to Company standards
• Process merchandise and handle non-merchandise deliveries with urgency
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of all stockrooms and secure back-stock
• Ensure compliance to monthly presentation guidelines in assigned area
• Understand and comply with Loss Prevention Awareness Program, maintaining customer service presence
• Execute Company Best Practices at the Front End, managing line and expediting customer wait times
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers, shortage control policies, and Front End procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of Fitting Rooms, ensuring go-back compliance
• Conduct cash pulls and bank deposits to Company policy
• Administer payroll, including daily punch edits and scheduling compliance

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
