Area Supervisor

About This Role

This role involves overseeing a specific area of the store, ensuring smooth general operations, and supervising associates. Key responsibilities include opening/closing the store, maintaining merchandise presentation, and upholding a friendly shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise an assigned area of the store, including general operations
• Open and close the store according to company procedures
• Supervise Retail Associates and Stockroom Leads (where applicable)
• Maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment for customers
• Conduct daily tasks such as recovery, sizing, and markdowns to company standards
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Understand and comply with Loss Prevention Awareness Program, including maintaining customer service presence and engagement
• Manage Front End operations, including training and coaching Associates on cash registers and shortage control policies

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred
