Participate in diverse architectural work, provide programming and planning services to Project Managers, and ensure quality and code compliance in building projects. Lead junior architectural staff and contribute to the development of reference standards and design guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full range of architectural work as assigned
- Lead Architect I and Design Techs as directed by manager
- Participate in quality, building code and life safety reviews of buildings and projects
- Provide programming and planning services to Project Managers
- Conduct quality review of construction documents created by in-house Project Design Group and external consultants
- Develop and update specifications
- Provide technical support for design and facilities functions, including Project Design Group and Architectural committees
- Provide technical support for Facilities Operations functions
- Develop, document, and revise Reference Standards and Design Guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- 10 years of design and construction documents and architectural project experience in a multi-disciplinary architectural/engineering environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office software
- Architectural license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, preferably from a NAAB accredited school
- 10 years of design and construction documents and architectural project experience in a multi-disciplinary architectural/engineering environment
Nice to Have
- 5 years healthcare remodeling project experience
- NAAB accredited school degree
- NCARB certification records for reciprocity
