This role is involved in the cleaning, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, rehousing, and storage of medical equipment and devices for specific departments at Mayo Clinic. It supports patient care areas by responding to various requests and helps resolve operational inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Clean, distribute, inventory, transport, manage records for, rehouse, and store identified medical equipment and devices
- Perform daily decontamination functions and transport devices throughout Mayo Clinic with attention to safety, security, and productivity standards
- Support patient care areas by responding to incoming requests via phone, mail, and fax from Mayo Clinic staff
- Serve as a point of contact to resolve daily operational inquiries and problems
- Enlist appropriate Equipment management personnel for assistance as needed
- Work on special projects as assigned by leadership
- Sustain and comply with a broad range of policies and governmental regulations
- Assist with projects as directed by Linen and Central Services leadership
- Assist with LCS continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Strong personal computer skills
- Communication skills

- Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment

- Ability to manage time to meet requirement deadlines
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 2 years central service, distribution or business related experience preferred
