Applications Support Analyst - Post Acute

About This Role

Perform routine healthcare information system and application support by investigating and resolving support issues. Contribute to the creation of training documentation and lead training sessions while analyzing and recommending workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine healthcare information system and application support
• Utilize analytical skills to investigate or escalate support issues
• Resolve incidents and service requests
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of training documentation
• Incorporate appropriate presentation techniques to support and/or lead training sessions
• Research, analyze, and make recommendations for application workflow improvements
• Create and analyze reports using multiple reporting mechanisms
• Gather, analyze, design, develop, modify, test, implement, evaluate, and maintain information technologies to support business needs
• Promote and participate in a team approach
• Work with other departments and outside vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficient verbal and written communication
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate diplomatically across integrated teams
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• One year of relevant experience in application support, hardware or interface preferred.

Nice to Have

• Area of focus in Information Technology, Healthcare, Business, or related field
• One year of relevant experience in application support, hardware or interface
• Knowledge of multimedia tools
• Creation of training support documentation
• Software development
• Web-based applications
• Basic knowledge and support of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) philosophies
• Knowledge in state and federal laws, rules and regulations
