Applications Administrator

About This Role

This Application Administrator role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of assigned applications, including scripting, configuration, and integrations, for Sanford Health. The administrator will also work with leadership to develop technical solutions and ensure system health and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support assigned applications on a daily basis
• Perform scripting, configuration, and integrations for applications
• Work with leadership to develop technical solutions for business needs
• Monitor system health, usage, and compliance within application platforms
• Configure and manage application usage, data integrity, and system software release levels
• Collaborate with application vendors for configuration, enhancement requests, and support escalations
• Build requested items and tasks using workflows and other process management tools
• Develop systems integrations and automate processes
• Create process documentation for the team and provide internal training
• Generate reports and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a scheduled rotation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field
• Three years of experience in systems administration
• Operations experience supporting applications in a multi-server environment
• Fluency in networking principles and implementations
• Proven fault identification and analysis skills
• Critical thinking ability
• Ability to troubleshoot technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field
• 3+ years of experience in systems administration

Nice to Have

• Project management experience
• Experience with on-premise and/or cloud-based Systems Administration
• Software development experience
