About This Role

Join a Cardiology team in Palm Bay, FL as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), managing patient follow-ups and cardiac surgery clearances. Work in an established team within a distinguished integrated delivery network recognized for excellence in medical care.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient follow-ups for cardiology patients
• Occasionally provide clearances for cardiac surgeries
• Manage 16-18 clinic patients per day
• Collaborate with an established team of APPs
• Oversee clinical involvement of support associates and volunteers
• Participate in clinical experience of students

Requirements

• Completion of APRN protocols within first 90 days of employment
• Maintain bi-annual renewal updates for APRN protocols
• Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintain
• Participation in a minimum of one professional conference per year
• Completion of a minimum of 15 continuing education units per year
• Ability to pass colorblind testing to perform POC test requiring color change
• Strength in leadership, multitasking, autonomy, entrepreneurial and public relation skills

Qualifications

• Master Degree in the Science of Nursing
