Agent Assistant

About This Role

Assist agents by reviewing and monitoring electronic communications, primarily focusing on social media content to ensure compliance with risk-based criteria and regulatory requirements. Utilize various systems and AI tools to analyze communication reports and support supervisory and compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor agent electronic communications, with a primary focus on social media content
• Apply risk-based criteria to assess communications, including enhanced review of image- and video-based posts
• Utilize internal systems, third-party vendor platforms, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to support communications surveillance and analysis
• Run, analyze, and interpret electronic communications reports to identify trends, risks, and items requiring escalation
• Distinguish business vs. non-business communications and route business-related content for Registered Principal review
• Support additional supervisory and compliance functions, including fiduciary requests, email opt-out processes, and social media profile management
• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while managing competing priorities and deadlines
• Collaborate closely with Compliance, Supervision, and other internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in the insurance and/or securities industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, interpret, and assess electronic communications
• Familiarity using social media platforms and digital content
• Comfort learning and navigating new systems and tools
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations while keeping regulatory intent in mind
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Comfort using ChatGPT or similar AI tools to support analysis and reporting
