About This Role

This role involves supporting HCLS Solution Sales by guiding revenue across all products. You will act as a hands-on technical consultant, deeply engaging in solution delivery and positioning throughout sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales personnel in qualifying enterprise customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis
  • Participate on strategic accounts as the lead technical advisor
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers and other colleagues
  • Demonstrate products, both standard and tailored, to prospects and existing customers
  • Generate product demo scripts and scenarios, and maintain demonstration environments
  • Scope and deliver Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
  • Respond to Request for Information/Proposal documents
  • Stay current on product developments/releases for demo and POC/POC requirements
  • Support Marketing events such as user conferences, trade shows, and webinars
  • Stay current on competitive analyses and understand differentiators
  • Understand business and technical problems addressed by products, including key regulations and business drivers
  • Conduct transition briefings with Sales Personnel and Professional Services to communicate commitments and expectations
  • Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events

Requirements

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
  • Strong Pre-sales experience
  • Prior and current technical expertise in web technology and ability to learn new technology
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a growth mindset
  • Background in ITIL, Service Management, Asset Management, IT Management, IT Operations Management

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
  • ITSM & ITOM experience
  • Experience selling into and/or working with Pharma/Life Sciences
