Lead and develop a team of senior engineers within the TWF organization, focusing on building scalable, secure, and innovative solutions for critical enterprise workflows. This role involves technical leadership and people management to drive engineering excellence and roll out a Rust-based log storage solution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of senior engineers working on distributed systems
- Manage and mentor remote engineers, fostering growth and career development
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Drive engineering delivery, navigating organizational processes while maintaining team velocity
- Build team culture that values both quality and speed
- Remove blockers and enable the team to do their best work
- Work cross-functionally with partner teams across the globe
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
- 6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years in a remote management role with senior/staff engineers
- Strong technical background in distributed systems or databases and modern software development practices
- Experience managing in both startup and enterprise environments, able to establish structure without bureaucracy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills across remote and cross-functional contexts
Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years in a remote management role with senior/staff engineers
Nice to Have
- Experience with Rust, Go, or systems programming languages
