Activities Director

About This Role

Plan, coordinate, and direct a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility, ensuring high patient satisfaction. Oversee and mentor life enrichment staff while documenting activity plans and participation in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility
• Oversee and mentor other life enrichment staff
• Document activity plans and participation in the patient record in accordance with company policy and State and Federal regulations
• Interact with a variety of personalities and build relationships with new people
• Transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility

Requirements

• Qualified Activity Director for the State of Indiana OR previous experience in healthcare Activities
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Professional in appearance and behavior
• Able to pass physical examination for gainful employment
• Able to follow written and/or verbal instructions

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare Activities
