Accounting Manager

About This Role

This Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of recurring revenue accounting and billing cycles, leading month-end close activities and ensuring GAAP compliance. The role offers ownership of a critical accounting function, focusing on process improvements and cross-functional collaboration within a growing, service-oriented organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly recurring revenue processes, ensuring accurate recognition, accruals, and deferrals
• Manage and improve cycle billing processes, including reconciliations between billing systems and the general ledger
• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review accruals, support financial statement preparation, and ensure GAAP compliance
• Identify opportunities to streamline billing, revenue recognition, and close processes
• Partner with operations, billing, and FP&A teams to ensure alignment between revenue activity and financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong exposure to recurring revenue, accrual accounting, and cycle billing
• Detail-oriented and comfortable managing high-volume, repeatable transactions with accuracy and consistency
• Experience working with ERPs and billing platforms
• Strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to recurring revenue, accrual accounting, and cycle billing
