Accounting Manager (Corporate & Financial Reporting)

About This Role

Manage the month-end close and provide financial reporting for a client in White Plains, NY. This role ensures GAAP compliance, oversees various accounting operations, and offers financial insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements and cash flow analyses
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, cash management, and acquisition accounting activities
• Conduct detailed variance and trend analyses, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Maintain GAAP compliance, ensure process accuracy, and support audits through proper documentation
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting efficiency, accuracy, and professional growth

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-12 years of accounting experience
• 3+ years in management experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience in Microsoft Access
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Knowledge of corporate consolidations, revenue recognition, and financial statement preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (MBA preferred)
• 6-12 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in management, with a preferred background in real estate or infrastructure
