Accounting Manager

About This Role

Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, daily accounting operations, and financial reporting for a fast-growing infrastructure company. This highly visible role will partner with operations, finance, and project teams to drive financial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Supervise daily accounting transactions, including A/P, A/R, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany activity
• Conduct detailed monthly balance sheet reviews to ensure account accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Analyze fluctuations and provide variance explanations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Partner with operations, project accounting, and FP&A teams to align financial processes with business initiatives
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity environment
