This role involves performing daily service tasks for clients, including managing account transactions, responding to inquiries, and supporting claims. It requires maintaining client data accuracy in systems and keeping abreast of industry trends to ensure client satisfaction and contribute to the agency's goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives
- Service accounts, including transactions such as quoting, issuing policies, endorsements, certificates, claims, and renewals
- Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests on a timely basis
- Perform insurance marketing and sales activities
- Collect renewal data on assigned accounts
- Provide claims support
- Develop coverage strategies and plans as necessary
- Review new/renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy
- Maintain accuracy of client data in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
- Document all activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC)
- Understand and utilize upload, download, and interface technology
- Keep Producers informed of all important account activities and potential problems
- Stay current with industry trends through educational seminars and classes
- Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers and policy provisions
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty License
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to calculate financial figures and amounts
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Bilingual Korean
Qualifications
- High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines.
Nice to Have
- Associate Degree or higher
- CPCU or special training course completion
- Applied Systems / EPIC experience
