Account Manager II, Commercial Lines

About This Role

Manage a book of commercial insurance business, providing professional service to clients and supporting producers in expanding business. This role involves complex risk management and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Producers on client service, marketing, and renewal
• Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, and colleagues
• Oversee preparation and implementation of transactions and internal processing for assigned accounts
• Acquire understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and analyze insurance plans
• Coordinate the implementation of client’s strategic plan, including value-added services
• Act as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues
• Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other HUB products and services
• Manage, organize, and conduct client meetings
• Maintain accurate and organized account files and update HUB computer systems
• Seek continued knowledge and stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and make recommendations

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 5+ years account management experience
• 3+ years of related commercial lines insurance experience within a brokerage environment
• Currently licensed in good standing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and agency management systems

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED (college degree strongly preferred)
• 5+ years account management experience (brokerage preferred) or equivalent combination of education & experience, with at least 3+ years of related commercial lines insurance experience within a brokerage environment
