As an AVP Broker, ProEx Cyber, you will be responsible for servicing existing clients and expanding the book of business within HUB's Professional & Executive (ProEx) Practice. This role involves managing the full insurance brokerage deal flow process, specializing in Network Security and Privacy Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Media Liability, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability.
Responsibilities
- Manage tasks assigned efficiently and meet deadlines
- Present professionally in all elements of client-facing interactions, including technical writing and verbal presentations
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external clients on Network Security, Privacy Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Media Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, and HUB resources
- Service clients throughout the full insurance brokerage deal flow process
- Retain and expand the book of business by building relationships with prospects and producers
- Ensure client deliverables are accurate and professional
- Demonstrate expertise in comparison and analysis of insurance policies and determination of needed enhancements
- Review terms and conditions consistently to ensure consistency with expiring wording and year-over-year enhancement
- Understand the nuances of the Network Security and Privacy Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, Media Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability insurance marketplace
- Utilize effective negotiation skills to improve broking results for clients
- Manage all aspects of client services for assigned book of business and new business opportunities
- Compile Renewal Strategy presentations, including data analyses and market updates
- Gather and prepare submission material from the account management team for marketing
- Effectively manage the renewal process with the account management team and client
- Secure and review policies within 30 days of binding
- Provide continuous support and service to internal and external clients
- Continuously review opportunities for cross-sell and increased limits
- Maintain relationships with underwriters
- Understand and avoid broker Errors & Omissions exposure
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Active P&C license (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring)
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
