Account Manager - Accelerated Sales Program

About This Role

Join an accelerated sales program to develop sales skills, customer relationships, and product knowledge in the construction distribution industry. This role focuses on learning White Cap's business model and selling value propositions to professional contractors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills
• Prepare and execute account plans
• Sell White Cap value proposition and products
• Learn about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers
• Enter and process customer orders
• Operate a company vehicle or a personal vehicle consistently more than 80% of the average work week

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience
• Entry level (one to two years of sales or related field experience preferred)
