About This Role

As an Account Executive, you will drive growth for local businesses by selling multi-platform advertising solutions, including digital marketing and broadcast TV. This role involves developing custom strategies and managing client relationships to achieve measurable success.

Responsibilities

  • Sell game-changing advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies
  • Use the Scripps Sales Process (SSP) to craft tailored advertising strategies and deliver impressive ROI
  • Sell television commercial airtime and digital marketing strategies to maximize exposure across various platforms
  • Independently hunt down new opportunities, secure appointments, assess client needs, and close deals
  • Negotiate to maximize revenue and deliver customized, winning solutions for clients
  • Build deep relationships with clients, providing top-tier service and securing additional business through referrals
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, managing media avail negotiations, campaign execution, and revenue collection
  • Proactively manage the sales funnel using CRM systems, track key metrics, and hit sales goals
  • Contribute ideas to campaigns by working directly with clients on stories, visuals, and assisting in production
  • Maintain strong client connections through regular engagement
  • Keep CRM updated, resolve media issues, track account info, and communicate with leadership

Qualifications
