Account Executive

About This Role

This Account Executive position at RT Specialty supports internal teams by providing market insights, assisting brokers with new business and renewals, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the commercial insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for new business and renewals as directed by the broker
• Initiate renewal reviews to optimize client coverage and recommend retention strategies
• Assist brokers in developing market submissions and quote cover letters
• Review incoming documents for accuracy and completeness
• Build strong relationships with brokers and understand brokerage operations
• Partner with brokers to drive renewal activity and generate new business opportunities
• Collaborate on new business strategies, including proposal and presentation development
• Evaluate account-related risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations and policies
• Maintain accurate client data in internal systems and produce clear documentation
• Generate performance and portfolio trend reports to support broker decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of Property & Casualty experience in the commercial insurance industry
• Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management. Other related disciplines or equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 2-4 years of Property & Casualty experience in the commercial insurance industry

• CISR certification
