Agoda is seeking a bilingual Japanese and English Account Executive to expand its accommodation network in Japan. This role involves identifying, acquiring, and onboarding new hotel partners to Agoda's platform.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential new hotel partners in target regions across Japan
- Proactively reach out to hotel owners and decision-makers via calls, emails, and in-person visits
- Present Agoda’s value proposition and negotiate commercial terms to onboard new hotels
- Guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring their properties are set up for success and go live on Agoda’s platform
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Provide market insights and best practices to help partners maximize their performance on Agoda
- Track and report on acquisition activities, pipeline, and results using CRM tools
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements
- Bilingual in Japanese and English (able to conduct business communication effectively in both languages)
- Experience in business development, sales
- Analytical and proven track record in using data to drive achievements and make decisions
- Autonomous and result driven
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and is open to change in responsibilities, workflows, as needed by the business
Qualifications
