About This Role

HMM is seeking an Account Executive to expand its sales team in Atlanta, GA, focusing on building client relationships, diversifying the customer base, and meeting financial goals within the maritime transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Expand & diversify existing incumbent customer base as well as develop new target accounts
  • Track and record metrics throughout sales process
  • Meet and exceed financial goals
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge

Requirements

  • Strong sales skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with bid tools such as InforNexus, Coupa, Arriba, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and clearly present data to outside clients and internal stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Past ocean carrier experience
  • Past experience handling BCO and NVOCC customer base for TPE, TPW, and other Global trades
