About This Role

As a Home Comfort Advisor, guide homeowners through the electrification journey, designing custom systems and closing deals from initial contact to signed contract to help homeowners upgrade to climate-friendly homes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial contact to signed contract, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Project Manager
  • Actively participate in community and industry events to connect with homeowners and identify new opportunities
  • Lead personalized in-home consultations to assess heating and cooling needs and address electrification goals
  • Design and sell personalized electrification plans, introducing products and financing options, and closing deals
  • Educate customers about project timelines, installation processes, and expected outcomes to build trust and generate referrals
  • Hit sales targets by using effective sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals
  • Actively perpetuate an inclusive, equitable, collaborative working environment
  • Provide feedback from customer interactions to internal teams to improve sales materials and product offerings
  • Help develop and implement best practices for consultations and system design to improve sales process efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and pipeline status in the CRM to ensure transparency

Requirements

  • Experience in customer-facing sales or consultative roles (smart home technology, HVAC, energy, or home services preferred)
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with proven ability to take ownership and deliver results independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively while adhering to deadlines
  • Growth-oriented attitude with ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical concepts like building science, financing, and project management tools
  • Track record of using data, CRM tools, or systems to optimize processes and drive outcomes
  • Highly organized and tech-savvy across multiple software platforms
  • Passion for solving climate change and enthusiasm for working in a mission-driven company

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing sales or consultative roles, ideally in smart home technology, HVAC, energy, or home services; or related fields such as architecture, construction, building science, energy efficiency.
