This role is for a Prenatal Account Executive responsible for driving adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen in OBGYN clinics and MFM practices, cultivating new business, and managing sales relationships within a specific geographic territory.
Responsibilities
- Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors
- Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and other key healthcare professionals
- Effectively prospect and cultivate new business and maintain key relationships
- Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography
- Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography
- Manage the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation
- Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences and networking events
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector
- Demonstrated successful sales track record
- Understanding of buyer/decision maker types
- Effective selling, listening, presentation skills
- Ability to assess and respond to customer needs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Flexible, self-motivated and results-oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
- Act with a sense of urgency, with a focus on closing business
- Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff members
- Strong desire to work in a startup environment and work independently
- Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in specified geographic territory
