Access Representative - Occupational Injury

About This Role

The Access Representative performs tasks related to collecting and custodianship of patient information, supporting patient care delivery and follow-up in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments with Physician and Nurse Practitioner
• Perform check-in and check-out functions in the clinic
• Enter patient data accurately and completely into computer systems, including registration, medical record assignment, and visit creation
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, insurance forms, medical releases, and other documentation
• Assure confidentiality of information regarding patients, hospital personnel, and medical staff
• Attend departmental meetings/in-services

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or HiSET equivalent

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or HiSET equivalent is required. Associate's Degree or business college certificate is preferred.
