1:1 Registered Nurse School Setting

About This Role

Provide comprehensive healthcare services to K-12 students in an Aurora, IL school setting, delivering nursing care, individualized healthcare plans, and emergency response. This role supports the health and wellness needs of the school community on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health supervision to students in accordance with school health policies and state regulations
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students requiring 1:1 attention
• Monitor chronic and acute student health conditions and provide timely interventions
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student well-being
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
• Participate in health education initiatives and support immunization compliance

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Ability to provide one-on-one care as needed
• Skilled in medical assessments, medication administration, emergency response, and health education in a school environment
• Familiarity with K-12 student health policies and protocols

Qualifications

• Experience in school nursing
