Zone Team Leader

About This Role

This role will provide guidance and direction for the successful operation of a retail sales floor zone, overseeing merchandising, customer service, and team supervision. The Zone Team Leader ensures operational expectations are met and associates are productive.

Responsibilities

• Execute established procedures for assigned store zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, and daily recovery
• Ensure store standards, Ops Center compliance, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations
• Oversee the Door to Floor process to ensure merchandise is planned, received, and stocked on the sales floor timely
• Supervise associates operating within the assigned zone, ensuring daily tasks are provided and productivity is maintained
• Ensure all customer service standards meet company expectations
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for merchandise unload/processing
• Communicate company directives and programs to store associates and ensure timely completion of follow-up items
• Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years' retail supervisory experience
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Valid state issued driver's license

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years' retail experience in a supervisory role within a mid-size to large retail or service-oriented business
