Retail Department Manager

About This Role

This role involves driving department sales, ensuring customer satisfaction through the "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach, and maintaining merchandising standards. The Department Manager also assists with receiving, pricing, and training new associates.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's 'Yes I Care, Yes I Can' approach
• Be knowledgeable of all products, promotions, and advertisements
• Assist with receiving the truck and pricing items
• Ensure that all product is merchandised and recovered per visual merchandise standards
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders
• Assist with training new Associates
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register
• Maintain the cleanliness of the overall store

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred

• Six months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business
