About This Role

Serve as a Workforce Career Coach, primarily engaging with participants to meet regulatory requirements for eligibility, participation, case notes, and follow-up. This role involves recruiting for various programs, identifying employment and educational opportunities, and delivering skills training to foster participant development.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, meeting regulatory requirements for eligibility, participation, case notes, and follow-up services.
  • Recruit and enroll participants for the TEC-P, WIOA Adult, and WIOA Dislocated Worker programs.
  • Seek employment and educational opportunities for participants upon program completion.
  • Attend and conduct community activities related to participant development.
  • Identify and recruit target populations of clients and employers.
  • Deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness, and basic remedial math and reading.
  • Develop presentations and facilitation skills to engage students in meeting program goals.
  • Connect with employers and community organizations to market and enrich the program and participant success.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years relevant work experience with targeted population
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems
  • Appropriate and valid state driver’s license

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Related Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited College or University preferred.
  • 3+ years relevant work experience, with past experience working with the targeted population.
